It's a challenge to appreciate yourself when no one does but if you can't see your good points, how can others?  Start by making a list of your God-given talents and skills and soon enough your attitude will change about your circumstances.  Soon others will notice how great you are too!

Recycling Feature: Plastic Bottle

Think before you throw away something like this little plastic bottle.

With it you can now make an airtight container.  Just cut off the top and insert the plastic bag so it is captured by the lid. Use to store different items.

Volunteerism: Invisible Sisters

 



Ever wonder what old dry cleaners, CDs, throwaway electronics, used plastic bags and a little ingenuity have in common?  They can all be reborn as beautiful but practical items like bags and quilts.

This is what the Invisible Sisters do: make eco-friendly items, provide livelihood for urban poor mothers and grandmothers, reduce waste and help the environment.

How to help?  Be part of the solution.  Bring your plastic bags to the drop off box at Glorietta 4 beside the Concierge.  There are other drop boxes at Market! Market! and International School.

2. Papemelroti artist Robert Alejandro was featured on Sapul's feature on Scrapbooking, Channel 5 last October 25th.

3. Golden Years TV show on ANC featured Papemelroti proprietors Benny and Corit Alejandro talking about their family life, last September 27, 2010.
