Cards
Making and
collecting ATCs (Artist Trading Cards) is a hobby that is increasing
in popularity nowadays. Artists around the world exchange
their works of art in a standard size of 2 ½ X 3 ½ inches (size of a
baseball card).
Their
masterpieces reflect their unique styles using different mediums.
It's so fun to collect ATCs! To trade, just join one of the

Craft: Artstand
Summer
is just around the corner and with a lot of free
time on the children's hands, this project is just
the thing to encourage their creativity!
All
you need: glue, 7 toilet paper tube rolls, small
sheet of cardboard, scrap cloth, strip of lace and
optional die cut decor
Instructions:
1.
Gather all the materials. The scrap cloth is
nicer if you find different designs but in a
matching color. We used blue denim with
printed blue florals and stripes.
2. Cover
all the paper tubes with the cloth by wrapping them
and tucking the ends inside with glue.
3. Trace
one end of the tube onto the cardboard so you can
cover one end (so the pens don't fall out!).
Cover this with cloth held on by glue and then
attach to the bottom of the tube like in the
picture.
4. Bunch
all the tubes together and secure with glue and the
strip of lace so it stands firmly together.
5. Fill
it up with your pens and enjoy!

Big Brother Big Sister
The Big Brother Big Sister (BBBS)
Community Outreach Program helps
fill the needs of Filipino
children living in remote
mountain areas.
Each year, sponsors and
volunteers carry the school
supplies and trek through
mountain trails to give to the
children in person. On May 22 -
23 this year, BBBS will visit
the communities of Cambulo and
Batad in Ifugao province,
Northern Luzon to distribute
school packs.
You can help today by being a
Big Brother or a Big Sister and
meet the children or you can
sponsor a child or more!
With only P300 or $7 you can
assure a child of 1 year's
school supplies!
