Free Craft: New Life for Your Wrappers!
What to do with all the leftover paper, boxes, and ribbons? Don't throw these away! You can make a lot of crafts from them!
File the paper for later use for scrapbook decorating! You can cut up into smaller sheets for easier storage.

Wrap up your pencils with the wrapping paper and get a whole more festive feel whenever you use them!
Ribbons can be used for your hair, to accessorize clothing or to use for paper tags in the future. You can also sew them on the sides of your skirts so these fall more easily from hangers.
Boxes can be used for storing things in your cabinet, or for little dioramas you can decorate your room with! You can also use these to organize your drawers. Wrap these up with scrap cloth or nice paper to make it look nicer.
These can be made into decor by cutting up the nice shapes and pasting onto sturdier material like used cardboard. Cut the excess cardboard out. Then you can punch a hole and even hang on your tree next Christmas! You can also make bookmarks with this process.
If you don't want to mess around with paste and cardboard, you can just string along a bunch of shapes cut from the wrapping paper. Hang on your wall or window. Use interesting stencils or favorite cookie cutters to form shapes.
Use a paper shredder or if you don't have one, you can just use your scissors. Cut used wrapping paper up into little strips to be used at packing material for your future wrappings.
Recycle them by laying them flat under some fabric and then ironing them (lowest setting). Roll them up for future use.
Volunteer Opps: Patak ng Pag-Asa
Armed with hope and encouragement, a group of college students from Christ's Youth in Action went on mission to Pampanga. They spent their days sharing the good news among the Aeta communities of Nabuklod and Kamachile.
Seeing that there is a need to do more than just spiritual feeding, they created "Patak ng Pagasa."
Patak ng Pagasa is a project that plans to raise up funds to restore their broken pipe lines and thus provide clean water in the Aeta communities. To know more about the project click here

A New Day with Our Maker
Each day can bring a battle-scarred feeling without our inner core strengthened through faith. We were made for a reason and only our God knows what our true purpose is. Our challenge is to take care of our spiritual life and to start now.
For those of you who want to start your prayer life this month we highly recommend the Word Among Us reflection guide which we use daily.
